To all my watchers; I'm sorry I'm going upload-crazy these past couple of days. :D

Please full view! Thank you!

This is another sketch,... similar to the "Homeward Bound" drawing. I think I like the combo of these purple and black pens. I might do one or two more... who knows. Anyway,... this sketch is pretty much done. I don't think I'll do anything more to it. For one, it isn't spectacular. If I had planned it out better, i might have been tempted to finish it. So...no references were used,...just drawing from memory and making things up as I go. It was sort of inspired by Mongol warriors, who were excellent riders and pretty good archers. Although they plundered and pillaged parts of my homeland, somehow I'm still fascinated by them. :D There are many tales of them coming through, but one stuck in my mind most. Basically some Mongols were coming through looking to pillage one of the castles, and one of their warriors fell in love with the sister of the man who helped them capture the no-good noble. This warrior, sick of traveling, decided to stay in Slovakia, and marry this girl. They had children, and eventually the locals started to call their settlement after him. True story folks................ :D The full version is a lot more interesting. :D

You are simply incredible with horse anatomy; fantastic attention to detail, too. ^^

Thank you. :D Me too. I don't know what it is, but I love the whole warrior life-style. Maybe I was one in my past life. :D

I am fascinated by Mongol travels and their horsemanship too, so this pieces def. strikes a chord with me! Besides that, ink work is probably one of my favorite medias to see and do. :D The black purple combo does look great and I love how smooth and detailed this peice is.

Thank you! Thanks so much for the fave as well. :D :glomp: I just love how much skill the Mongols posessed (and still do in many cases). They're some of the best horsemen to this day, and the fact that they were able to conquer so many lands so quickly is just astonishing. :D I'm glad you like the ink work. I love working with these pens in particular. They're just so easy to use, they're not messy, and they are precise. Too bad they don't last very long in my hands. :( Anyway,....glad you like the piece. :)

I love the motion in this picture. How you get the horses so realistic must be a thing that comes with experience, I'm looking forward to me getting that Xp.:)

Thank you. :) I've been drawing them for so long that it just comes naturally. Horses are the first thing I learned how to draw,... and that was when I was about 3 years old. I'll mess up here and there, but for the most part people can tell its a horse. The more you draw them, the better you'll get. That horse you drew was awesome, especially for a first time. You will have no trouble learning, and I'm certain of that. ;) :)

WOW! coolerific! the line drawing is amazing, the horse's body looks very neat in terms of anatomay and shape, and the armor of that warrior is superbly-drawn, very in detail.
you inspired me to draw horses, I love them and gonna try to draw 'em! :)
