Traditional piece in pen and ink. This animal is called the "Okapi". I sketched this animal at the Wild Animal Park. The next day I made it into an ink drawing.
It scanned a bit rough. The lines are a lot more smooth in person.
I actually thought this was a digital work. That proves that there is barely a difference noticable between traditional inking and your digital inking.
Really great illustration. Personally I think you left a bit too much blank, but the details are great, and the style is very nice.

I love your style Jana! I like the way you've done the trees, the bark looks great and just accentuating some of the leaves works really well, and saves time I would imagine Those Okapi look like really gentle animals.

I see your style is getting more and more precise and controlled. Knowing how you obsess over details, the time when there will be no dot out of place is near Nice drawing. For some reason, I like the crow a lot, too.
