Acrylic on Canvas 30" x 40"
Painted from a photograph taken by one of us at the 2005 L.A. Auto Show. Background taken from another detail photograph of the left fender. I first arranged this in Photoshop to make sure it would look kick-@$$. I'd say this was my most accomplished painting,....... ever. If I can't outdo myself, I hope to at least do something equally good.
Thanks. Glad you like it. I worked on that thing for a while (its pretty big), and although total work time was about two weeks, I put it off for about two or three months before completion.
Thank you very much. Acrylics are definitely not easy to use, but I like the fact that they dry so quickly (so I can work on the painting all day without blending something I didn't want to blend).
Thanks. The picture was taken at the L.A. auto show (after its' unveiling), so there were many lights focused on the car. It helped the car look extra shiny, and made my work a hell of a lot harder. lol.
oh my gosh, this is incredible.. you are so talented!! i thought this was a picture (photograph) !!! wow, good work! I will definatly be happy to see even more work from you, I will have a peek at your gallery again some more soon!!!

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to keep watching for more stuff. Another car painting is in the futre,.... a Shelby Cobra. I doubt it will be finished anytime soon though.
ooooooo I'm not a fan of big flash cars but when I saw this I had to see for myself if it was a real painting O_O and it is! You are very good at realism

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
