O.K...... this is the very last OLD piece that I'll upload for a while. I did this when I was in 9th grade. It was my second scratch-board project ever, and it was sort of fun to create. This one is also a shameless copy of something I found in a magazine. (I believe it was a decorative plate of some sort). The thing about scratchboard is, that once you make a mistake,...that's it. There's no way to fix it without making it obvious. This piece is plagued with mistakes, but it could have been worse. I had another scratchboard piece that actually made it into our art-school gallery, but when I was taking my stuff down, I left it outside on a bench,.. and when I came back it was gone. It portrayed two racoons fishing in a river. I liked it,... it was one of my better ones, but who knows where it is now.

You should know better than to wake a man when he's sleeping. 'S bad luck.
Ah, fortunately I know how to counter it. The man who did the waking buys, the man who was sleeping, a drink. The man who was sleeping drinks it while listening to a proposition
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
